Scout Council Victoria

Scout Council Victoria is a team made up of Youth Representatives and Scout Commissioners of each Region of Victoria, supported by the State Commissioner Scouts, Assistant State Commissioners, and State Leaders with responsibility for Events, Program and Patrol Activity Camps.

The purpose of the Council is to support the delivery of the scout section program to 11 to 14 year olds. We do that by providing major events, like Stradbroke Cup, Cohen Shield, Scouthike, Bay Jam, Fantastic Race, Patrol Activity Camps, and a contingent to Australian Jamboree. We also provide material on the delivery of the program to scout leaders; support branch training; and assist at every level on program delivery. We administrate and present The Australian Scout Award at State Medallion Presentations twice a year, and conduct youth forums across the state that culminate in the State Youth Forum each year.
